The Tech Valley Global Business
Network.

 The
Tech Valley Global Business Network (GBN) is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit
collaboration of five area business membership organizations dedicated to providing education and networking opportunities for expanding international trade in New York's
Tech Valley. GBN is open to any member of the Albany-Colonie, Rensselaer,
Schenectady and Southern Saratoga Chambers of Commerce.
With roots that date back to 1986 in the Capital Region, GBN’s mission is to enhance the growth and prosperity of the international business community by supporting companies both currently engaged in – or thinking about – global business. We offer valuable networking relationships and provide practical educational opportunities for expanding international trade, while encouraging active participation among all organizations with serious interest in international business.

Tech Valley Global Business Network.

On behalf of our
partners, I welcome you to check out Tech Valley Global Business Network (GBN)
as we address the interests of the international business community. Our goal is to strengthen our growing network of global business resources and transfer practical experience to benefit all
five partners' members and the business community at large.
We do this through a philosophy
we call "members helping members." It always amazes me that many of the global
business needs a member may have such as finding an overseas supplier,
structuring a foreign entity or just trying to find more information in a
particular country, to name a few, can begin to be addressed simply by talking
with others with similar experience. At our events and workshops, GBN provides access to practical hands-on advice and opportunities to network with others.
Everyone with a serious interest in international business can be part of the GBN.
If you are already a member of one of our
partners,
please attend one of our events to learn more about the relevance of the global
economy to local business and gain knowledge about how to tap local connections
to international opportunities. If you are not yet a member of any
partner
organization, then check out their membership page to see what is the most
suitable for you.
